Profile Update - 31/03/2024 Are you compassionate, fun-loving, and energetic? We are currently in search of reliable caregivers for our almost 5-year-old son, Hugo, who has Autism and is non-verbal. This position is for a Casual Employee, and we are offering a competitive rate of $28 - $30 per hour, along with the inclusion of Kiwi Savers as part of the employment benefits. Please reach out to me for more details. Payment will be made fortnightly. Ideally we are after someone that can pick up 2 Sundays a month for 6 hours, with options of 9 am - 3 pm or 10 am - 4 pm. In this role, you will be Hugo's trusted companion, assisting with feeds, playtime, activities, naptime, diaper changes, and park walks. Additionally, you'll engage in educational play sessions in his well-equipped and dedicated playroom while ensuring his safety and well-being. As Mom works from home and Dad travels frequently, Mom will be present for support, occasional cuddles, and to offer coffee. Of course, she's also there to rescue you from Dad's occasional bad "Dad Jokes" if he happens to be home. We highly value qualities such as reliability, kindness, patience, and a good sense of humor in our caregivers. While experience is a plus, we believe that the right attitude and qualities are equally important. As a Home-Based Care Support Worker/Nanny for Hugo, you will become an integral part of our family. Your role is crucial in providing care, companionship, and support to our enthusiastic explorer, Hugo, who has limited vision in 1 eye and relies on a feeding tube.
